Blubonnet Sunrise Over Lake - Nothing says spring more than bluebonnets so we captured this image of a field of wildflowers at sunrise as the sun was just breaking across the horizon with some nice colors in the sky, along the Colorado River in the Texas Hill Country. This year crop at the park near our house was the best we have seen of bluebonnet anywhere. You can see the mist over the water as the sun gradually comes up over this wonderful sea of blue wildflowers along the rivers edge. The smell of all these blue bonnets flowes was very flagrant in the early morning hours. Bluebonnets are such a spectacular site in the Texas hill country every spring.
