Capitol of Texas in Austin - The state capitol of Texasl located in Austin Texas which is a big part of the local city images. The capitol is located in downtown Austin and is the center of what has become the austin downtown lifestyle. The Texas Capitol was built in the late 1800s in the Italian Renaissance archtiecture which give its unique look in this very modern city. We took this photo of the Texas capitol in late afternoon because the sun would set from behind the capital and the clouds would be able to pick up that nice sunset colors which almost made the capitol appear to glow. We also like the skylight pannel that goes to the lower floors of the capital building. The Texas Capitol is one of the biggest tourist attraction in the city along with the University of Texas. The captiol has a lot of texas history as it the city most popular historical landmark.
