Description
Colorful Dawn Port Aransas Pier - This is the magic hour before the sunrise when the colors in the sky cast these wonderful colors of violet and orange glow rays into the sky. The caldwell pier light were still on and illuminated the waves as they rolled onto the beach on this early am capture. The reflections in the surf with the pier as a backdrop with the colorful sky enhanced this capture this beach scene as the tide rolled over the wet sand giving off this ripple effect. The long exposure created a softer look over the surf for this dreamy capture with these wonderful ripples effect and cast wonderful color in the sky over this texas pier. The sky picked up these wonderful violet crown colors of the pre dawn with colorful rays in the sky. Port Aransas or Port A for short is a favorite place for us to visit along the Texas coast. Port A is located about thirty miles from the Corpus Christi and aboutt 15 min from Rockport and Fulton Texas. Along the way from Corpus you cross Mustang Island and the North Padre Island Seashore so there are many beaches to enjoy along the way. Port A beach is in the gulf of mexico where the weather is mild most of the year with the exceptions of the summer and it is a quick place to get some nice beach scenes. The Texas coast with this nice beach ready for a day of fishing, swiming, surfing or just enjoying the view. Another exceptional morning seascape to start the day! The iconic Horace Caldwell pier juts out 1200 feet into the gulf of mexico and is a favorite place for fishing, swiming or just beach walking. This is a two to one pano.

Tod and Cynthia, Stunning capture of the colors in the sky right before sunrise, I have been fortunate enough to capture these sky images on some early morning fishing trips
