Deep Ellum Neon Sign - This the Deep Ellum neon sign which welcomes you to the Dallas neighborhood. The Deep Ellum is an edgy entertainment district which is known for its vibrant street murals, quirky art galleries and long-time concert venues for indie and blues. The district is a known hot spot for music, and plenty of restaurant of all types but most famous for it Tex Mex places along with brewpubs, cocktail bars and on weekend plan on taking an uber as their is virutually no parking. The road are so congested in the area because all the urbers double park in a two lane road it remind me of mexico. The crowd can get pretty boisterous on weekends, while edgy, experimental drama dominates the program at the time-tested Undermain Theatre, in a warehouse basement. The name from what I gather has to do with it being at Elm and Main so from that they got Deep Ellum
