Description
Driftwood Tree Sunrise - We liked how the sunrise golden rays twinkle came through the branches on this early morning capture at the driftwood beach with a silouette of this gnarly twisted tree for this beach scene. Sunrise through the trees on driftwood beach can be magical time as this wonderful old trees silouette with it gnarly old limbs reaching high into the sky giving it this un-worldly look. This beach is northern part of Jekyll Island which is call driftwood beach or some call it boneyard beach because of all the dead trees, limbs and stump that are immerses in the salt water daily at high tide. The trees are of course not alive but their roots hold firm to the sands and the trees give these really cool look as the sun comes up in the early morning along the driftwood beach for a nice seascape. Jekyll island is located in Georgia along the alantic ocean coastline. Jekyll island is part of Georgia Golden Isles which gets it name from the golden color of the salt marshes around this area. The Golden Isles is a group of barrier islands along the alantic coast that include Jekyll island.
