Garner Park on the Frio - In early fall we came to see if the cypress trees had started to turn along the frio river at Garner State Park in the Texas hill country. Well it was in the early stages of just beginning to change to fall colors, but we decide to take a few shot now as it looked so lovely on this day! On this day the water was still, barely flowing and you could see the bottom when the light hit the emerald waters just right. The wonderful old cypress tree along the river roots reach out deep into the river and have expanded over the years as they grown bigger. There are so many things that make this Texas hill country treasure one of my favorite places to visit with its blue green waters and all my childhood memories of summer vacations here.
