General Store at Luckenbach Vertical - This is another image of Luckenbach General Store, where the post office was closed in 1971 and the zip code that goes with it was retired in a vertical format. This place is a tourist attraction in Texas Hill country near Fredricksburg Texas where it not far for many locals and travelers wanting something a little bit different in luckenbach. The old tree in front was probably there for a hundred years. This place was made famous by Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings song about Luckenbach. It is now a tourist destination in the Texas Hill country for many. If you want to chill out and listen to some live music out in the beer gardens, or play a game of washers (like horse shoes) or enjoy a night at the dance hall it got a little bit of everything for most people. This is the image of the old post office which is now mostly a tourist store where you can purchase post cards and T-shirts, hats along with other trinkets.
