Heavenly Light Over the Pier B W - There is just something about being at the beach in the early morning as the sun rays shine down over the water and back into the sky with these heavenly rays and reflections on the sand and surf. The beauty of the beach as the waves create these ripples in the wet sand as the drama in the sky as the sun rays poke through the clouds to give this heavenly light over the beach and pier is stunning in black and white, In the early morning as the surf was coming in with a long exposure soften the tide as it rolled in and out. Its always a challenge to keep the tripod from sinking into the wet sand and on this day it was no easier, as the tripod moved so did the it was a constant struggle to captured the shot before it was gone for good. This is just one of many captures from this location over the week we were here trying to the capture the tranquility over the gulf of mexico in the early hours of the morning. Luckily for us one of our friends has several houses at the beach so we could come during this pandemic with out concern for safety. This the iconic Horace Caldwell fishing pier which reaches out 1200 feet into the gulf of mexico. Port Aransas is small community of fishing, vacation homes located along the Texas coast. This is a short drive from central Texas so it can be quite popular in the summer time as many come to the shore for vacations. Port A is about 30 miles from Corpus Chrisit with plenty of beach to enjoy along the way. Also available in color.
