Port Aransas Caldwell Pier B W - The Caldwell fishing pier is one of our favorite places to photograph along the Texas coast at Port Aranasas. Everytime we come it is a different look but we wanted to show it this time in black and white with a long exposure which softens the waves as they flow under the pier with this haunting look. The point of view gives that diminishing view out over the gulf of mexico in a monocromatic image. The ocean tide are coming in to the beach at a strong clip this moring making it difficult to control the tripod as it sinks into the wet sand of the beach. Still I managed to capture this long exposure in this black and white image at the gulf.
