Wildflowers Beach Path Through the Dunes - We loved this sandy path through the wildflower covered dunes on our way to the beach. We found this path with many different yellow wildflowers growing across the dunes as we made out way to the sandy beach in the gulf of mexico. We had been driving along the beach and decided to go to the North Padre Island when we came across this area where the dunes were covered with these yellow wildflowers, a nice sandy path to the beach and the surf and blue sky in the distance. What more could you ask for. The Texas coast has so many places where you can get away from the crowds that we felt that it was safe to come to the area during these crazy pandemic times. This area is not far from Corpus Christi Texas which is one of the biggest ports in the area. We were staying in Port Aransas only about a thirty minute drive to North Padre Island the largest barrier island in the world which runs for miles along the texas coast.
